There’s a new savings challenge in town and it’s so super easy and fun that you’ll be reaching your savings goals in no time flat! It’s called The Envelope Savings Challenge. Here’s how it works.
You start by labeling envelopes. For our example lets take 10 envelopes and label them #1 through #10. Then, your goal is to fill each one of those envelopes with the corresponding dollar amount. (example: Envelope 1=$1, Envelope 7=$7, Envelope $10=$10). Once you fill the envelope, place it in a piggy bank, shadowbox or other savings vessel. Scott and I purchased this cute Shadow Box Bank from Hobby Lobby and then we decorated the back. When all of your envelopes have been filled, you’re done and a whole lot richer for it!
The best part is, it’s simple for you to decide on your savings goal. Maybe you have a weekend get away coming up that you just want to quickly stock away some money towards. Label 20 Envelopes and you can save $210 in no time!
